Despite the traditional ninja weapons are the knife and the star, a PlayStation 2 game to try to break that rule by offering something unique. This is the premise of "Red Ninja: End of Honor".

In the midst of feudal Japan in the 16th century the samurai begin to become less common and ninja assassins become a necessity to maintain power amid political turmoil. In this environment the young Kurenai sees his world shattered when his father is killed by the deadly Black Lizard Clan, and is hanging by a thread to die. But his willpower to keep alive until the rescue. She is saved by another clan of ninjas, which teaches the use Tetsugen, a wire deadly weapon. His only goal: ending the Black Lizard Clan.
